Touko Okamoto

Chief Administrative/Accounting Officer

After completing her graduate studies at Tokyo University of the Arts, she found herself in a completely different field — until she met the former representative and joined Odd-e Japan the year after its founding.

As one of the founding members, she witnessed the early struggles of Odd-e Japan.

Currently balancing two careers: working as a painter while handling administrative and design tasks.

"Never give up" — I have grit, if nothing else. If I believe I can, I can. If I believe I can't, I can't.

• Completed the Master's Program in Japanese Painting, Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts (that's a mouthful).
• Active as a Japanese-style painter.
• When something comes up, people tend to say "for now, let's ask Touko." She's the mother figure of Odd-e.
• Probably (no, definitely) the world's only painter who can answer Scrum questions.
• A certified "choco-addict." Loves eating (& cooking) and drinking — but only with others. Lively conversation over drinks is her idea of bliss.
• Gets energized at night. Weakness: mornings. Extremely low blood pressure and not a morning person.
